Dennis R. Jones, Chairman/CEO

Mr. Dennis R. Jones has an extensive forty year entrepreneurial history, beginning with the creation, start up and full operations of successful corporations, to specialty formulations and manufacturing of products for the aesthetic industry, including quality skin care and patented nitch products.

Prior to acquiring FillTech USA, Mr. Jones founded IBMD LLC and Sona International Corporation. Based on decades of experience in the aesthetic industry as well as creating and building a number of other successful companies, he then elevated Sona into one of the leading laser hair removal companies in the world. Sona opened the first company owned laser center, Sona Laser Center, in January 2001 and began offering the first aesthetic medical franchise in the country focusing on laser hair removal in June 2002. Within 18 months, under Mr. Jones’ leadership, Sona became one of the largest laser hair removal Med Spa networks in the country.

In 2004, Mr. Jones sold Sona International Corporation, and today Sona Med Spa continues to be a premier med spa brand which is still expanding into many of the top markets in the United States.

Prior to Sona, Mr. Jones served as President of a publicly traded laser manufacturing company. Here he reversed the results of this troubled organization by developing and implementing an innovative advertising and marketing program for the Medical Laser Industry. He also built a National and International Sales Team, employing some of the top producers in the laser sales industry, by providing clear vision and solid business principals.

Prior to these accomplishments, Mr. Jones founded The Professional Hair Institute. As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of The Professional Hair Institute (PHI), he guided PHI to one of the top medical hair transplant company’s in the industry. In addition, Mr. Jones holds several patents for products and medical procedures and has developed numerous products for the health care industry.

Dennis Jones has experience as a national seminar instructor and public speaker, and has provided financial management, contract negotiations, corporate development, and start-up counsel to businesses around the world. Mr. Jones also works with start-up and established corporations, providing consulting advice and implementation in the areas of company development, strategic planning, franchise start-up and operations, marketing and corporate growth.

Cookie Jones, Co-Founder & President

Cookie Jones brings to FillTech USA more than 32 years experience in creating, building and managing cosmetic and aesthetic companies, as well as building one of the largest medical franchises in the country along with her husband, Dennis Jones. Currently, Mrs. Jones is responsible for customer acquisition, creative advertising and marketing and the general oversight of FillTech USA.

Prior to FillTech USA, Cookie was Vice President of Design and Development at Sōna International Corporation, and played an integral role in the building of Sōna Med Spas. Responsibilities included nationwide site development, space planning, sourcing of furniture, equipment and medical supplies and the development of marketing materials. In addition, Cookie was Co-Founder of Professional Hair Institute, a national network of medical hair restoration centers, where she performed similar duties and responsibilities.

Cookie previously worked for the City of Chesapeake as a commercial and residential Real Estate Appraiser.
 
 
Scott W. Hughes, COO

Mr. Scott Hughes came to Filltech USA with several different experiences in the manufacturing industry along with several successful entrepreneurial ventures over the last several years.

Mr. Hughes graduated from Baylor University in 1991 with a B.B.A. in Marketing/Management. Mr. Hughes served as Vice President for ICG, Inc. from 1995-1998, where he headed up marketing and sales.

From 1998-2004 Scott served as President of the Portland based Sona Laser Center, a National Medical Franchise. During that same time Mr. Hughes served as Vice President of Operations for Sona International Corporation. Mr. Hughes also served as Vice President of Creative Technologies, Inc., a product development company.

 
Elizabeth P. Noble
Vice President, Regulatory Affairs

Mrs. Noble is a graduate of East Carolina University where she obtained a BS in Chemistry. Mrs. Noble has 40 years of experience, in Research & Development, regulatory affairs and product manufacturing.

At FillTech USA, Mrs. Noble holds the position of Vice President of Regulatory Affairs, and heads up FillTech’s Quality Assurance Department, which ensures that products developed and manufactured at FillTech USA meet the most stringent current GMP requirements. Mrs. Noble is responsible for product development, QA inspections, stability testing and analytical testing.

Prior to FillTech USA, Mrs. Noble was Director of Manufacturing Affairs/Technical Affairs at Harmony Laboratories, Inc. There she was responsible for a 2-shift, 40 employee manufacturing operation in a cosmetic and pharmaceutical plant. She also provided technical and regulatory guidance to Research & Development, Quality Assurance/Quality Control, Bulk Production and Marketing towards the development of a cGMP compliant plant. From September 1997 to April 1998, Mrs. Nobel was the Director of Technical Affairs, and was responsible for development and first production of new topical drug and cosmetic products. There she supervised the transfer of new products to production, established testing protocols and process controls and wrote detailed processing documents for bulk manufacturing of topical pharmaceuticals, such as external analgesics, acne preps, sunscreens. Mrs. Noble was also responsible for formatted and optimizing batching documents for use in process validations.

Durning her career, Mrs. Noble worked with Stanback Company for approximately seven years, where she held the position of Control Manager and later, the position of Consultant - R&D and Regulatory Compliance, for an OTC drug manufacturer producing internal analgesics, sunscreen and dry skin products. At Stanback, Mrs. Noble was responsible for development and first production of a caffeine alertness aid, several sunscreen lip balm products, for process validation and test methods development and validation, and for label copy development and compliance for all Stanback’s products. Mrs. Noble worked with NDMA task force on early issues and aspects of FDA’s new OTC Labeling Guidelines.

As an Environmental Chemist with Clariant Corporation (Sandoz) Mrs. Noble was responsible for producing Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and evaluating environmental and product safety for five manufacturing sites and two R & D sites. Previously, Mrs. Noble was the Technical Services Supervisor for the surfactants and chemical specialties division, and directed the development of new surfactants, developed applications for surfactants and solubilizers, and presented them to U.S. cosmetic and drug companies. Mrs. Noble also lectured and presented research papers on specialty surfactants for the cosmetic industry at national industry meetings.

Mrs. Noble’s career also includes working with Pfizer, Inc. – Coty Division, where she held the position of Quality Assurance Laboratory Supervisor. There she was responsible for sampling, instrumental and wet analysis, microbiological testing, disposition of raw materials, bulk and finished goods. She also maintained finished goods stability program while supervising 9 - 12 chemists and technicians. Mrs. Noble was responsible to coordinate and supervise all pilot production and subcontracted production, and implement and maintain chemicals in the Workplace Program, air monitoring, safety testing, housekeeping and wastewater programs for a 45 acre manufacturing plant. And lastly, Mrs. Noble worked with Almay, Inc. as R&D Chemist and Quality Control Chemist for the developing of new cosmetic and drug products.

 
Rita Lefler
Director of Operations

Rita Lefler brings to FillTech USA more than 25 years of HBC/OTC industry experience and successful business management. She is responsible for daily plant operations and employee management.

Prior to FillTech USA, Mrs. Lefler owned/operated Carolina Sweets, a successful local hometown bakery. Mrs. Lefler established certification with Food and Drug Administration Department of Agriculture, developed all standard operating procedures and requirements for state and local Health Department Inspections. Mrs. Lefler is Serv Safe Certified in the state of North Carolina County of Rowan.

Mrs. Lefler co-founded Filltech, Inc. in 1995, successfully establishing a quality oriented Food and Drug Administration compliant manufacturing facility. Filltech, Inc. met the industry needs and requirements of the HBC/OTC customers for 13 years with excellence in quality and service.

Prior to Filltech, Inc., Mrs. Lefler was employee at Stanback Company for 9 years where she was Purchasing Manager. There she was responsible for the development of buying strategies, supplier management programs realizing record annual savings. Mrs. Lefler was promoted to Marketing Manager where she worked in brand management, corporate sales, ad development and market research.

Prior to Stanback Company, Mrs. Lefler worked in the banking industry as a branch manager.
